Neuromuscular Dentistry

Neuromuscular  treatment modality in dentistry focuses on correcting "misalignment" of the jaw at the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

Neuromuscular dentistry acknowledges that simply your “bite” can be the cause of your postural problems. Neuromuscular dentistry determines the discrepancy in your bite and through diagnosis and treatment can result in treatment.


Some of the common signs:
  • Headaches / migraines
  • Facial pain
  • Postural problems (forward head posture)
  • Back, neck and shoulder pain
  • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
  • Vertigo (dizziness)
