Tegan Di Pietro’s journey with Collins Dental Image began in 2004 when she joined as a bright and motivated trainee dental assistant. With a background in hospitality, she was searching for more responsibility and a deeper connection with the people she served – and she found exactly that in dentistry. After completing her traineeship, she quickly became a core part of the team, known for her meticulous attention to detail and natural ability to keep the day running smoothly for patients and colleagues alike.
A Comfortable Experience Through Organisation And Care
Tegan has always prioritised patient well-being. She understands that feeling confident and at ease during your dental visit is just as important as the care itself. Whether coordinating appointments, explaining procedures clearly, or ensuring the small but important details are in place behind the scenes, Tegan works hard to ensure every patient feels genuinely cared for. Over the years, she’s been a reassuring presence for patients, guiding them through everything from scheduling to more involved care plans with kindness and clarity.

Expanding Skills and Perspective
A relocation to Sydney allowed Tegan to expand her knowledge further, gaining valuable experience across different areas of dental care. It was during this time that her passion for the management side of dentistry flourished. Combining her organisational skills with a growing interest in patient care coordination, she found new ways to help patients feel comfortable and well-informed. This insight now shapes how she supports patients and the broader team across the group.
Family Life and Full Circle Moments
After stepping away for maternity leave in 2015, Tegan returned to the Collins Dental Image family, this time as both a team member and a patient parent. Today, her two daughters and extended family are also part of the practice community, making her connection even more meaningful.
